PSL gears up for major expansion

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is set to expand to an eight-team tournament starting in 2026.

This decision by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) aims to boost the league’s competitiveness and global appeal, aligning it with other major cricket leagues around the world.

The PCB’s decision to increase the number of teams from six to eight is a strategic effort to enhance the league’s standards and provide more opportunities for emerging players.
