PSL to be available in full-match Urdu commentary for the first time

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced that the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) will be available with full Urdu commentary for the first time ever.

Fans will be able to enjoy full-math Urdu commentary throughout the entire tournament in a move the PCB stated was done to “deepen engagement with millions of cricket fans and enhance their experience.” Viewers will now be able to tune into live broadcasts in Urdu.

PSL Chief Executive Office Salman Naseer stated that the PSL is introducing a “separate Urdu commentary feed” as it was eagerly anticipated by fans.

“Cricket is a unifying force in Pakistan and by offering commentary in Urdu for a full game, we are bringing the excitement and energy of the HBL PSL closer to the hearts of fans in every corner of the country,” Naseer stated.

He added that “this move not only strengthens our connection with the community but also ensures that the excitement of HBL PSL is more accessible to a wider audience.”

The PCB stated that details regarding the broadcast details and commentary panels for both English and Urdu will be shared at a later date.
