Tomorrow, May 19, the last match of the league stage will be played between Islamabad United and Karachi Kings, the last and decisive stage of the tournament, including four matches, including qualifiers, two eliminators and the final.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has dedicated these three important days of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 10 to the Pakistani armed forces.

The three matches played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium have been dedicated to the Pakistan Army, Navy and Air Force respectively. This unique initiative was aimed at paying tribute to the armed forces and promoting national unity.

The first day (yesterday) saw the Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir himself showing up to the stadium, along with the DG ISPR Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi was also present at the match.

A minute’s silence was observed in the stadium for the martyrs. Attendees brought Pakistan flags and participated in the opening ceremony of the match with fervor. A magnificent display of fireworks lit up the atmosphere and the stadium echoed with slogans of “Long Live Pakistan” and “Long Live Pakistan Army”.
