The registration process requires users to provide personal information, including their name, email address, contact number, date of birth, country of residence and favourite team.

After agreeing to the terms and conditions, users will be eligible to receive the latest information regarding ticket availability and sales.

The initiative aims to address the issue of ticket scalping, which has plagued previous tournaments.

The Champions Trophy 2025 marks the return of the tournament after an eight-year absence. The last edition was held in 2017.

The competition will feature eight teams divided into two groups of four. Group A includes India, Pakistan, New Zealand, and Bangladesh. While Group B comprises Afghanistan, Australia, England and South Africa.

Matches will be held in three cities in Pakistan: Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi; the match in Dubai will serve as a neutral venue for India’s matches.

Pakistan will kick off the tournament against New Zealand on February 19, and will also face Bangladesh on February 27.

The final match’s venue will depend on India’s performance — if India reaches the final, it will be held in Dubai; otherwise, it will take place at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

The 2025 edition of the Champions Trophy will be the first major ICC event hosted solely by Pakistan since 2009.

Due to India’s refusal to come to Pakistan, discussion were underway about a hubrid model that may see some matches held at ‘neutral’ grounds.

Afghanistan will also make its debut in the ICC Champions Trophy, showcasing the growth of cricket in non-traditional nations.
