ISLAMABAD: Pakistan star batter Sidra Amin has become the third-highest run-scorer in Pakistan women’s One Day International (ODI) history, reaching the milestone of 2,000 runs on Wednesday.
She joins the elite company of top-order batter Javeria Khan, who has scored 2,885 runs in 116 matches, and all-rounder Bismah Maroof, who leads the chart with 3,369 runs in 136 ODIs.
Sidra achieved the landmark while contributing significantly to Pakistan’s total in the first ODI of the series against South Africa, held in Lahore. The three-match ODI series is part of South Africa’s ongoing tour of Pakistan and carries points in the ICC Women’s Championship.
