DUBAI: Pakistan U19 team on Sunday beat India in the fifth match of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Under-19s Asia Cup at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai on Sunday.

Winning the toss, Pakistan opted to bowl first, limiting India to 259/9 in their allotted 50 overs. Mohammad Zeeshan led the bowling attack, securing four wickets, while Amir Hassan and Obaid Shah contributed with two wickets each.

In the chase, a stellar century from Azan Awais, complemented by fifties from Shahzaib Khan and Saad Baig, propelled Pakistan to a successful pursuit of the 260-run target with eight wickets in hand.

Earlier on Saturday, Pakistan beat Nepal by seven wickets.
