Usman Wazeer returns home after epic knockout against India

LAHORE: Pakistani boxer Usman Wazeer returned home to a hero’s welcome following his remarkable victory at the World Youth Boxing Championship in Thailand.
The 24-year-old welterweight reached the Allama Iqbal International Airport, commonly known as Lahore Airport, in early hours of Tuesday.

The young boxer faced off against Indian boxer Thilak Selvam in Thailand where he demonstrated his exceptional bowling prowess and performance to the entire world in just 65 seconds.
Wazeer was received at the airport with cheers and applause from supporters. Among those present to welcome him was Fahad Shehbaz, the Focal Person for the Prime Minster’s Youth Programme in Punjab.

The focal person expressed pride in the welterweight’s performance.
In the championship match, Usman Wazeer achieved a knockout against his indian rival in just a minute and five second.

The victory marked the boxer’s 14th consecutive victory, showcasing his skills and talent inside the ring.
