ISLAMABAD: The ICC Women’s World Cup is hosting a crucial match today (Wednesday), its 16th One Day International, between England Women vs Pakistan Women.
England Women were sent bat first as Pakistan Women chose to field after winning the toss for 16th ODI of the Women World Cup.
Currently, the match has been halted as the playing XIs of both sides couldn’t continue following strong winds accompanied by rain, while lower order Charlie Dean and Emily Arlott are playing at the crease, adding each 5 off 32 balls and 1 off 11 deliveries respectively.
Earlier to the raining moments, England Women began their batting in a weak compose as Fatima Sana and Diana Baig destroyed their opening line. Top batters Amy Jones and Tamsin Beaumont each managed just 8 and 4 runs before being crushed by Sana and Baig respectively.
