Zam Afro T10 League finalises player signings for upcoming season


The player signing phase for the second edition of Zimbabwe's Zam Afro T10 cricket league has officially wrapped up, with six cricketers from Pakistan securing positions on various teams competing in the event.

HARARE: The player signing phase for the second edition of Zimbabwe’s Zam Afro T10 cricket league has officially wrapped up.

Six cricketers from Pakistan managed to secure positions on various teams competing in the event.

The Durban Wolves have strengthened their roster by acquiring Sharjeel Khan, Mohammad Irfan, and Yasir Shah, according to the announcement from the Zam Afro T10 League. The signings are expected to improve the team’s prospects in the upcoming season.

Meanwhile, Cape Town Samp Army also managed to sign great talent by enlisting Haider Ali as their global superstar. Shahnawaz Dahani also joined the squad, giving the Cape Town Samp Army an edge in their bowling attack.

Similarly, NYS Legos made a smart move by signing batsman Asif Ali outright. His aggressive batting approach is expected to strengthen the team’s batting lineup.

The player draft for the Zam Afro T10 is set to take place on September 8, providing teams with the chance to select further players to finalise their lineups.

The tournament is scheduled to kick off on September 21 in Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe, promising an exciting season of rapid-fire cricket for the country’s fans.
