Second stock exchange opens in South Korea, ending 70-year monopoly

The Korea Exchange, founded in 1956, has been South Korea’s sole securities exchange for nearly seven decades, until the new secondary stock trading platform named Nextrade opened Tuesday at 10:00 am (0100 GMT).
