WEB DESK: Samsung is set to roll out its One UI 7.0 Beta Program later this month or early next, inviting Galaxy smartphone users in select countries to test the upcoming version of One UI and Android 15.
This beta programme will allow Samsung to gather crucial feedback from testers to address bugs and issues before the official release of the Android 15 and One UI 7.0 updates.
Not all Galaxy device owners will be eligible to participate in the beta programme. A limited number of devices will be selected, with the latest flagship models, such as the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy Z Fold 6, likely to be included. Other eligible devices may include:
- Galaxy S24 Series
- Galaxy S23 Series
- Galaxy S22 Series
- Galaxy S21 Series
- Galaxy Z Fold 6
- Galaxy Z Flip 6
- Galaxy Z Fold 5
- Galaxy Z Flip 5
- Galaxy Z Fold 4
- Galaxy Z Flip 4
- Galaxy Z Fold 3
- Galaxy Z Flip 3
- Galaxy A55
- Galaxy A54
- Galaxy A35
While these devices are strong candidates for the beta test, Samsung’s approach to mid-range devices can be unpredictable. Further details about additional devices that may be included will be revealed in due course.
Prior to the One UI 7.0 update, Samsung will release One UI 6.1.1 for flagship phones launched in recent years. The timing for this update is yet to be confirmed but is anticipated to occur before September.
One UI 7.0 promises to be one of the most significant updates in recent years, with numerous changes and enhancements expected.
