Apple removes iconic stickers from new iPad packaging

WEB DESK: Apple has launched its latest iPad Pro and iPad Air models, which are now available for pre-order with shipments starting next week.

However, in a move that may surprise some fans, the new iPad boxes will not include the iconic Apple stickers.

According to an internal memo obtained by 9to5Mac, Apple has decided to remove the stickers from the packaging of the new iPad Pro and iPad Air as part of its commitment to environmental sustainability.

The company is taking steps to reduce plastic usage in its packaging, aligning with its broader eco-friendly goals.

For those who treasure the stickers, there’s a glimmer of hope. Apple Stores have received limited stock of Apple logo stickers to give out to customers who request them when purchasing an iPad Pro or iPad Air.

However, this is only available at Apple Stores and not through other retailers such as Amazon or Best Buy.

Once Apple Stores run out of these stickers, they will have to reorder from Apple, but there’s no guarantee of how quickly they’ll be restocked.

If you’re planning to buy the new iPad from an Apple Store and want the sticker, make sure to ask for it at the time of purchase.

With the absence of stickers in the packaging, this extra step might become a new ritual for Apple enthusiasts who still value this iconic memorabilia.

Apple’s decision to remove the stickers is part of a larger trend among tech companies aiming to reduce waste and lower their carbon footprint.
