Today (March 23), in another display of the revolutionary capabilities of neural interfaces, Arbaugh took to X to communicate through his thoughts. Recounting his experience with social media, he revealed how Twitter initially banned him under the suspicion of being a bot, only to be reinstated by X and Elon Musk himself, acknowledging the authenticity of his posts made possible by the Neuralink Telepathy device.

He wrote, “Twitter banned me because they thought I was a bot, X and Elon Musk reinstated me because I am.”

Musk quoted this post and wrote, “First ever post made just by thinking, using the Neuralink Telepathy device!”

Arbaugh’s journey into the realm of cybernetic augmentation began after a tragic accident during his tenure as a student and athlete at Texas A&M University. The incident left him paralysed from below the shoulders, rendering him quadriplegic.
