GPT-5: Expected features of OpenAI’s upcoming model

WEB DESK: Recent reports suggest that the latest model of OpenAI’s artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot GPT-5 is expected to be released by the end of 2024.

According to the Business Insider, OpenAI’s new AI model GPT-5 might come out as soon as November 2024 with significant improvements over GPT-4.

Users have reported multiple complaints with the GPT-4 model, complaining of incorrect answers and even cheeky responses from the AI chatbot. However, customers who got early previews of GPT-5 say it is much better than the previous models, with improved features, and overall “a really good experience”.

Expected features

The new version of OpenAI’s AI model is expected to be a lot better in reasoning abilities and video functionality. GPT-5 reportedly also has better analytical skills to help AI-powered systems in industrial sector.

Experts also think GPT-5 will be “smarter” because it will be able to understand more complicated language patterns. But this also means it needs more powerful computers and more time to train and run compared to simpler models.
