ISLAMABAD: Infinix is gearing up to launch the Hot 60i 5G, marking the next step for its budget-friendly smartphone series. The new model will bring faster connectivity and upgraded features compared to its 4G model, which only recently hit the Pakistani market.
While there is no official word yet on when the 5G version will arrive in Pakistan, industry watchers believe it could be priced between Rs38,000 and Rs42,000.
This would be a jump from the current Hot 60i 4G, which retails at around Rs33,000 locally.
Hot 60i 4G vs upcoming Hot 60i 5G
The existing Infinix Hot 60i 4G is one of the most affordable phones in the lineup, featuring a Helio G81 Ultra processor, a 5,160mAh battery, and a triple-camera design, though the third lens is purely decorative. Its main camera offers a 50MP sensor with autofocus, supported by a 2MP portrait lens.
The upcoming Hot 60i 5G aims to raise the bar with a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage, which can be expanded via microSD. It will run Android 15 with Infinix’s XOS 15 interface and is expected to deliver smoother performance, particularly for multitasking and gaming.

The phone will sport a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate for a more fluid viewing experience. On the back, it will have a dual-camera setup led by a 50MP primary sensor, while the front camera is designed for clear selfies and video calls.
Big battery and AI features
One of the standout features is its massive 6,000mAh battery, which Infinix says is the largest in its price range for a 5G handset. This capacity is aimed at providing extended usage without the need for frequent charging, appealing to heavy users and travellers.
The device will also include a range of AI-powered tools such as Circle to Search, AI Eraser, AI Extender, AI Call Translation, and AI Wallpaper, offering added convenience in both productivity and creativity.

The Hot 60i 5G will be available in four colours: Shadow Blue, Monsoon Green, Sleek Black, and Plum Red, giving buyers more personalisation options. It also comes with IP64 certification for dust and water resistance.
If Infinix manages to keep the pricing competitive, the Hot 60i 5G could become a strong choice for those looking to step into the 5G era without breaking the bank, especially in Pakistan’s entry-level 5G smartphone market which still has relatively few options.
