LAHORE: Apple’s iconic flagship, the iPhone 3GS, which is nearly 14 years old, has resurfaced on a prominent Pakistani online buying and selling platform.

It’s a rarity to come across a smartphone from over a decade ago on used marketplaces, especially in Pakistan.

However, a resident of Lahore seems to have caught the attention of many Pakistani tech enthusiasts and Apple aficionados by offering a used iPhone 3GS 16GB variant for sale at a modest price of not more than Rs12,000.

The seller intriguingly labels it as “a gift for iPhone collectors” in the ad description.

Adding to the astonishment, the seller asserts that this vintage iPhone, now 14 years old, is still in operational condition.

Remarkably, all the functions of the phone are reported to be in working order, and the battery is said to be performing well.

For those unfamiliar, the iPhone 3GS was introduced by Apple in June 2009 and gained widespread popularity due to its added feature of video recording—a notable upgrade compared to its predecessors, including the iPhone 2G and iPhone 3G.

Despite maintaining a similar appearance to the earlier iPhone 3G, this model, boasting a modest 3.5-inch TFT screen, was considered a luxury in Pakistan.

Apple did not officially sell the iPhone 3GS in Pakistan, making it an even more coveted item.

While some may not be drawn to this legendary device, many are likely to be thrilled to witness the reappearance of this iconic phone on Pakistani online marketplaces.

The nostalgia associated with the iPhone 3GS is sure to evoke excitement among tech enthusiasts and collectors alike.
