ISLAMABAD: Samsung Pakistan has recently introduced the new Galaxy A series smartphones for 2025 and has now officially unveiled the prices of three new models.
Once regarded as Samsung’s relatively affordable or mid-range lineup, the Galaxy A series is no longer considered cheap, especially for models offering higher specifications.
Samsung has set the price of the Galaxy A26 5G (256GB) at Rs85,000. The phone is currently available in the local market, Samsung stores, and on the company’s official website for ordering.
The Galaxy A36 5G (256GB) is priced slightly higher at Rs120,000 and offers comparatively better specifications than the Galaxy A26 5G. Meanwhile, the most expensive option in Samsung’s A series lineup at present is the Galaxy A56 5G (256GB), available for Rs138,000.
It is worth mentioning that all these prices are for PTA-approved smartphones, as Samsung Pakistan sells only pre-approved devices.
In recent years, many Samsung users in Pakistan have shifted towards other brands such as Infinix, Redmi, Oppo, and Vivo. The shift is reportedly due to higher prices and fewer features in Samsung models compared to the flashier designs and better specifications offered by competitors at comparatively lower prices.
Although there is no fresh or official sales data available regarding PTA-approved Samsung smartphones, market visits suggest a decline in the availability of used Samsung phones compared to other brands.
This indicates that Samsung’s sales in Pakistan are not at the levels they once were before taxes and PTA approval costs significantly raised phone prices.
