WEB DESK: OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, underwent an unexpected leadership reorganization, dismissing CEO Sam Altman due to a perceived lack of confidence in his leadership skills.
According to details, Altman was fired by the company’s board of directors.
Shortly thereafter, co-founder Greg Brockman surprised the tech community by announcing his resignation. Mira Mulati, the Chief Technology Officer, has stepped in as the interim CEO.
On Friday, in a significant development for OpenAI, the organization removed Sam Altman from his roles as CEO and co-founder, citing a loss of confidence from the board in his ability to lead.
