SAN FRANSICO: Artificial Intelligence (AI) leader OpenAI has revealed the launch of ChatGPT Enterprise on Tuesday.
According to media reports, the enterprise-focused version of ChatGPT presents several notable advantages when compared to the free and plus editions of ChatGPT, as outlined in the official announcement.
As per OpenAI statement, ChatGPT Enterprise offers stronger security and privacy for businesses. It also gives full access to faster GPT-4, longer context for bigger inputs, advanced data analysis, and customisable options.
OpenAI introduced the commercial ChatGPT Plus service in February 2023, offering subscribers privileged access to the AI tool. At present, access to GPT-4 is exclusively available to Plus subscribers.
OpenAI asserts that ChatGPT has been widely adopted by Fortune 500 companies, and the launch of ChatGPT Enterprise serves to strengthen the implementation and security aspects of the service.

Furthermore, OpenAI emphasises how ChatGPT prioritises privacy and security. They point out that it follows SOC2 standards, which are rules for handling customer data securely.
In ChatGPT Enterprise, conversations are encrypted both “in transit and at rest,” and the AI is not trained on business-specific data or discussions.
Furthermore, the media reported that ChatGPT Enterprise removes all usage limits that apply to free and plus plans. For Enterprise users, there is not cap on messages. Plus users are restricted to 25 messages every 3 hours when using GPT-4. But Enterprise users don’t have these restrictions, and the service is also “up to two times faster.”
According to the media reports, ChatGPT Enterprise also includes an unlimited advanced data analysis tool, once called Code Interpreter. This tool lets users quickly analyse and work with data.
OpenAI states that it helps both technical and non-technical teams examine information in seconds, whether for financial researchers looking at market data, marketers studying survey results, or data scientists fixing a script.
