WEB DESK: Oppo’s latest mid-range phone is not shy about flexing its muscles. The K13 Turbo Pro 5G, which hit shelves in China on July 25 and in India on August 11, is already buzzing on social media for packing flagship-level performance into a price tag that does not feel like daylight robbery.
At its core is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip, paired with up to 16GB of RAM, giving it enough power to handle demanding games without breaking a sweat. Helping with that is an actual built-in cooling fan, a physical fan inside a phone, complete with RGB lights, a 7,000 sq. mm vapour chamber and an IPX9 water-resistant build.
For mobile gaming marathons, the 7,000mAh battery should keep you playing well past midnight, and the 80W charging means you will be back in the game in minutes.
The 6.8-inch AMOLED display is bright at 1,600 nits peak, smooth with a 120Hz refresh rate and sharp with a 1.5K resolution. It supports HDR10+ too, which makes watching Netflix or gaming look richer and more vibrant.
Not everyone is sold on it
While the phone is earning praise for performance, battery life and durability, the camera setup is where it struggles. A single 50MP main shooter paired with a 2MP depth sensor feels underwhelming when rivals like Realme’s GT 7 Pro include periscope zoom lenses at similar prices.
Some users on X have also said that the Indian pricing, INR 37,999 (about Rs122,500 in Pakistan) for the base model, comes too close to premium territory, especially with basic camera hardware.

Still, at roughly $286 (about Rs80,000 in Pakistan) in China, the K13 Turbo Pro is difficult to ignore. Against more expensive competition from Apple, Samsung and Huawei, it offers a unique pitch with its gaming features in a mid-range body. That centrifugal fan alone might tempt some buyers.
Oppo K13 Turbo Pro launch in Pakistan remains unconfirmed
The phone has not launched in Pakistan yet, and Oppo has not given any hints about its arrival. Still, if it does reach the market, it would certainly generate excitement. The Oppo K13 Turbo Pro could cost over Rs100,000 once PTA approval fees, import duties and other charges are factored in.
Launching in Pakistan will not be easy, as this price segment is already crowded with strong offerings from Redmi, Samsung, Realme, Vivo and Infinix. Standing out among these established competitors will be a real challenge for Oppo.
For budget-conscious gamers, it could be one of the most interesting smartphones of 2025, even if it will not be your go-to choice for Snapchat and family holiday photos.
