ISLAMABAD: Realme is set to release a new mid-range smartphone in the Pakistani market this week, with the company actively promoting the upcoming device across various social media platforms and websites.
As with previous launches, Realme appears confident in its product and is pushing its marketing efforts accordingly.
Realme C75x price in Pakistan
For those unaware, the Realme C75x is expected to be available in Pakistan by April 19, 2025. The 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs42,000, while the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version will retail for Rs45,000.
But the question remains — is the Realme C75x worth buying?
Let’s begin with the drawbacks — features that may put off potential buyers and lead them to reconsider their decision.
The most significant concern is the front camera. Realme is offering a 5MP selfie camera, which feels outdated in 2025, especially when most smartphone manufacturers have moved on to next-generation sensors of 13MP or higher. A 5MP camera in this day and age may make buyers think twice.
Secondly, the phone lacks support for even basic 1080p video recording at 60 FPS, let alone 4K. This could be a dealbreaker for users who value video quality.
The processor is another underwhelming aspect. The phone is powered by the Helio G81 Ultra — a slightly modified version of the existing G81 chip, rebranded with ‘Ultra’. It doesn’t offer anything particularly new or exciting and might not be suitable for heavy gaming or intensive tasks.
Moreover, despite featuring a 6.67-inch screen, the Realme C75x does not come with an AMOLED display. This is a letdown, especially when competitors like the Redmi Note 13 (8GB RAM, 256GB storage) offer AMOLED displays at the same price point — Rs45,000 — as listed on the official Mistore website.
Another limitation is the lack of colour options. In Pakistan, the C75x will only be available in Coral Pink and Oceanic Blue, offering limited choice for consumers who prefer variety in aesthetics.
Now, let’s turn to what works in the Realme C75x’s favour.
For starters, it has a stylish design. The company is also promoting it as a rugged phone, with IP69 dust and water resistance, and what it calls ArmorShell Protection — features that suggest it can withstand rough use and accidental drops.
Another strong point is the large 5,600 mAh battery, supported by 45W fast charging. While it doesn’t have an AMOLED panel, the phone does offer a 120Hz refresh rate, which could appeal to users who value smooth display performance.
Additionally, Realme includes a decent-quality phone case and a screen protector in the box — a thoughtful touch, as many brands skip these accessories at launch, making them difficult to find for newer models.
Despite its shortcomings, Realme continues to enjoy a loyal fan base in Pakistan. In the coming days, it will become clear how the Realme C75x performs in the local market.
