New prices for Redmi smartphones in Pakistan after latest reductions

Redmi Mobile prices in Pakistan

WEB DESK: Prices for smartphones in Pakistan, which saw an increase just a month ago, have now started to ease. Recently, there have been multiple reports of shopkeepers selling Samsung, Redmi, Xiaomi, and Infinix smartphones at prices higher than those officially listed on the companies’ websites.

However, the situation appears to have improved with noticeable price reductions on the official Mistore website.

For instance, the Redmi Note 13 Pro (12/512 GB) variant, previously priced as high as Rs92,000 in local markets, is now available for Rs82,800 on Mistore. This represents a Rs7,200 reduction from its previous price of Rs90,000 on the same site.

Additionally, the Redmi Note 13 Pro (8/256 GB) variant has seen its price drop to Rs69,000 from Rs75,000, a reduction of Rs6,000.

Although the price cuts for the Redmi 13 series are modest, they are still significant. The Redmi 13 (8/128 GB) now costs Rs50,800, down from Rs53,000, while the Redmi Note 13 (8/256 GB) has been reduced to Rs54,500 from Rs58,000. The Redmi A3x (3/64 GB) has also seen a price drop, now listed at Rs19,900 compared to its previous price of Rs21,000.

The Redmi Note 12 (8/128 GB) is now priced at Rs41,500, a substantial reduction from Rs52,000. After Redmi Note 13 Pro’s 512GB variant, the most notable discount is on the Poco M6 Pro, which has been reduced by up to Rs10,000. M6 Pro is now priced at Rs80,000, down from Rs90,000.

Here’s a list summarising the previous and new prices of smartphones available on Mistore:

These reductions are part of Mistore’s Independence Day sale, which is currently active on the Mistore Pakistan website. All phones sold through Mistore Pakistan are PTA approved, meaning there are no additional charges for using your SIM card.

Redmi phones are generally preferred in Pakistan over brands like Infinix and Tecno due to their perceived reliability. However, some users have reported issues with after-sales service, including complaints about faulty accessories after purchasing Mi smartphones from local market and online shopping platforms like Daraz, despite the company warranty provided.
