Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 leaks reveal new design with sharper edges

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 design details

WEB DESK: Recent leaks have shed light on the possible design direction of Samsung’s highly anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 6.

Earlier this year, fan-generated concept images hinted at a new aesthetic for the flagship foldable device. Now, fresh evidence from a US-based case manufacturer is supporting those initial claims.

Thinborne, a company known for producing smartphone cases, recently shared a CAD render of what is purported to be the Galaxy Z Fold 6 on social media.

According to this design data, the upcoming device is expected to take on a more angular form compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 5.

This design evolution seems to draw inspiration from the style seen in the latest Google Pixel and iPhone 15 series, reflecting a shift toward sharper lines and flatter surfaces. If these early insights are accurate, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will feature a squarer design with more defined edges and corners.

This suggests a departure from the softer, rounded contours that have characterised previous iterations of the Galaxy Z Fold series.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is expected to make its first official debut in early July at Samsung’s next Unpacked event, which is rumoured to take place in Paris just weeks before the start of the 2024 Olympic Games.

This event will provide the first concrete look at what to expect from Samsung’s latest foldable innovation.

It’s worth noting that while unofficial renders offer intriguing clues, they may not represent the final design. Past leaks have sometimes proven inaccurate, so these design changes should be taken with a grain of salt.
