Why the Galaxy S25 Ultra design could be more comfortable and attractive

Samsung S25 Ultra design leaks

WEB DESK: Samsung’s flagship smartphones have long been celebrated for their sleek aesthetics and distinctive design language. The company has established a recognisable style, with the Galaxy S Ultra series featuring boxier designs and sharp corners, while the non-Ultra devices sport more rounded edges.

However, the upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra may deviate from this established pattern.

Renowned tipster Ice Universe has suggested that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will not feature the sharp corners that have become a hallmark of its predecessors. This change comes in response to user feedback regarding the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which many found uncomfortable to hold without a case due to its angular design.

If these rumours are accurate, Samsung appears to be prioritising ergonomics with the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It remains to be seen whether the corners will be entirely curved or simply more rounded than before.

This design adjustment is a clear attempt by Samsung to address the discomfort reported by Galaxy S24 Ultra users. The new model is expected to be unveiled early next year, with further details about its design anticipated to emerge by the end of this year.

In addition to ergonomic improvements, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is rumored to boast significant advancements in its camera system. Reports suggest it will feature a 200MP primary rear camera, accompanied by a 50MP ultrawide lens, a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP super telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. The front-facing camera is likely to remain a 12MP unit, as seen in the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra is also expected to incorporate state-of-the-art processing power. Most models will reportedly be equipped with Samsung’s own Exynos 2500 chip, while some variants may utilise Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. The device is anticipated to offer a range of premium features, including dust and water resistance, titanium side rails, stereo speakers, wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging.

As Samsung prepares to introduce the Galaxy S25 Ultra, consumers can look forward to a device that not only refines the user experience with a more comfortable design but also pushes the boundaries of mobile photography and performance.
