Authorities reported that the person, clad in all black, spray-painted the word ‘resist’ in red on the doors of the centre, discharged multiple rounds and ignited several cars.

The assistant sheriff as the city’s police department confirmed the incident was intentional and believed to be isolated. He claimed it was a targeted attack against Tesla.

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, denounced the ‘violence’ in a statement shared on X (formerly Twitter). He labelled the attacks as ‘evil and stated that Tesla’s primary focus was the production of electric vehicles.

The billionaire’s remarks follow a series of attacks targeting Tesla properties across the US.

Mere hours before the attack in Las Vegas, law enforcement authorities discovered several Tesla vehicles defaced with swastikas, along with offensive graffiti.
