Vivo V60 price in Pakistan

WEB DESK: Vivo has introduced its latest mid-range, camera-focused smartphone, the Vivo V60, in India, following the success of the V50 launched earlier this year. The new model promises significant upgrades in performance, photography, and battery life, keeping photography enthusiasts and everyday users in mind.

The Vivo V60 was revealed at an event in New Delhi on Tuesday, August 12. The smartphone will be available for purchase in India from August 19, with prices starting at INR 36,999 (about PKR 119,000) for the base variant.

Design and display

The V60 retains the sleek look of its predecessor but adds a few notable enhancements. It features a 6.77-inch quad-curved AMOLED FHD+ display with a peak brightness of 5,000 nits and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The display curves smoothly around the edges, giving it a premium feel, while the in-display fingerprint sensor ensures security without compromising design.

Power and software

Under the hood, the Vivo V60 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, paired with up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. The device runs on Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15 and will receive four major OS upgrades along with six years of security updates, keeping it relevant and secure until 2031.

Camera

Photography remains the centrepiece of the V60. The phone sports a triple rear camera setup co-developed with Zeiss, consisting of a 50 MP primary camera, a 50 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and an 8 MP ultrawide sensor. For selfies, there is a 50 MP Zeiss-backed front camera. Vivo has also introduced AI Four-Season Portraits and an India-exclusive Wedding vLog feature, aimed at capturing memorable moments with ease.

Battery and durability

Battery life has been boosted with a 6,500 mAh unit that supports 90W wired fast charging, promising hours of uninterrupted use. The V60 is also built to withstand the elements, featuring IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance.

Variants

The Vivo V60 comes in three colours: Mist Gray, Moonlit Blue, and Auspicious Gold. Pricing starts at INR 36,999 for the 8 GB + 128 GB variant, INR 38,999 for 8 GB + 256 GB, and INR 45,999 for the top-end 16 GB + 512 GB model. Customers in India can purchase the device through Vivo India’s official website and authorised retail stores.

With its focus on cameras, performance, and long-lasting battery life, the Vivo V60 aims to appeal to both content creators and everyday smartphone users looking for a reliable and stylish device.

Vivo V60 may cost over Rs150,000 in Pakistan

Now, turning to Vivo’s presence in Pakistan, the Vivo V60 has not yet launched locally, but it is expected to arrive soon. Its price in Pakistan remains unconfirmed, though it may be priced above Rs150,000.

By comparison, the Vivo V50 5G starts at Rs140,000 for the 256 GB model and goes up to Rs150,000 for the 512 GB variant. The Vivo V50 Lite is officially priced at Rs74,000, while the V50 Lite 5G costs Rs90,000, according to Vivo’s website.

The company has not announced an official release date yet, but the arrival of the V60 is likely to spark interest given the growing competition in Pakistan’s mid-range smartphone market.

Buyers have numerous options, including Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, Redmi, Samsung, and Infinix devices. In this segment, Vivo’s popularity is close to that of Redmi and is generally considered stronger than TECNO and Infinix in Pakistan.
