WhatsApp beta unveils seamless access to Meta AI

WEB DESK: In the beta version of WhatsApp for Android, accessing Meta AI has become more convenient through two methods.

Firstly, users can initiate a conversation with the chatbot by tapping the Meta AI button on the Chats tab. Alternatively, they can locate Meta AI in their contacts and then tap to start a conversation.

Once engaged, users can pose queries to Meta AI, receiving responses from the chatbot. Now, Meta introduces an even simpler way to access Meta AI within WhatsApp.

According to WABetaInfo, the latest beta version of WhatsApp for Android (version 2.23.25.15) enables interaction with Meta AI directly through the search bar.

Specifically, users can now input their queries in the search bar, prompting the app to offer the option to search using Meta AI.

However, details about the subsequent process remain undisclosed. It’s presumed that selecting this option will open a chat with Meta AI, providing the answer to the query.

With this enhanced accessibility, more users are likely to utilise Meta AI, gradually relying on it. This surge in usage could propel Meta AI to become a prominent feature of WhatsApp.

Presently, there’s no official announcement regarding the public release of the new UI. However, it’s anticipated that the company will introduce it to the public within the coming months.
