CALIFORNIA: WhatsApp has made a major update to the group calls feature, doubling the number of participants allowed in a call.
The popular messaging app is enhancing group calls to provide a better experience and increase the number of callers in a single call.
Now, WhatsApp allows up to 32 participants in a group call, but the call can start with seven or fewer people.
The messaging app is rolling out this new change.
With the “beta version” update, group calls on WhatsApp may be possible with up to fifteen participants.
This new feature has been introduced in the beta version, but details about when users will have access to this convenience have not been disclosed yet.
