Arthur, Bradburn retained for Asia Cup, Afghanistan series

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Friday announced national men’s team management for the upcoming 6-nation Asia Cup and One Day International (ODI) series against Afghanistan.

Team director Mickey Arthur and head coach Grant Bradburn retain their positions, amid speculation regarding their future under the new board setup headed by Zaka Ashraf.

Multan Sultans assistant coach Abdul Rahman would also take up the same role for national side. South African duo Andrew Puttick and Morne Morkel would serve as batting and bowling coach respectively.

Rehan ul Haq, general manger (GM) of Islamabad United has been appointed team manager.

Other support staff includes team doctor Sohail Saleem and physiotherapist Cliffe Deacon.

 

Schedule for Pakistan’s ODI series against Afghanistan: 

August 22 – First ODI, Hambantota

August 24 – Second ODI, Hambantota

August 26 – Third ODI, Colombo
