Bakery manager in Peshawar held, sent behind bars for 10-day over unhygienic conditions

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Authority arrested the manager of a bakery and sent him behind bars for 10 days over poor hygienic conditions here on Monday.

The KP Food Authority team headed by the Assistant Food Controller inspected the quality of food items and hygiene condition of bakeries located at Dalazak Road in Peshawar.

The food authority team found human hairs in cakes being sold by Selman bakers.

The manager of the bakery was arrested by the food authority and sent behind bars for 10 days. INP
