Pakistani-American doctor stabbed to death in US state

TEXAS: A Pakistani-American paediatrician was fatally stabbed in the common area of her apartment in Conroe, Texas, on Saturday.

Law enforcement officials stated that 24-year-old Miles Joseph Fridrich fatally stabbed 52-year-old Dr Talat Jehan Khan multiple times in Alys Apartments.

Dr Jehnak Khan was working with Texas Children’s Pediatrics Conroe. The victim is survived by a 14-year-old daughter and a 23-year-old son.

“Everything in her life revolved around those two things – her kids, her son and daughter, and her kids she looked after as a paediatrician,” said Wajahat Nyaz Khan, the brother of the deceased.

Dr Talal Jehan’s niece,  while talking about her aunt said, “She’s a Muslim, strong in her faith, those are identifiable traits about her. She’s extremely loving, and kind. She was my aunt. the best aunt.”
