Will go for ‘Plan B’ instead of boycott: Barrister Gohar

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insadf (PTI) Chairman Gohar Ali Khan on Wednesday said that the party will go for Plan B instead of boycotting the general election.
Talking to journalists outside Adiala Jail soon after the Peshawar High Court’s upheld the Election Commission of Pakistan’s ruling, which declared the PTI’s intra-party polls null and void and revoked its election symbol, Gohar stated that the PTI will also take up the matter to the Supreme Court.

PTI loses bat symbol
PHC withdrew the suspension orders on ECP’s verdict, restoring ECP’s verdict that declared PTI’s intra-party elections void and withdrew the “bat” election symbol from PTI.
PHC had reserved the verdict yesterday after hearing arguments from both sides. Sikander Mohmand appeared as the counsel for the ECP in front of Justice Ejaz Khan of the PHC.
