KATHMANDU/DELHI: Two earthquakes shook western regions of Nepal and neighboring regions of India that resulted in injuries to 17 individuals, and caused damage to houses constructed in the area. The earthquake also led to a landslide that obstructed a major highway in Nepal, according to the authorities.
Following the seismic events, measuring 6.3 and 5.3 in magnitude and occurring in the Bajhang district bordering India, a landslide occurred, blocking the road to the southern plains, as reported by Rama Acharya, an official from the interior ministry.
