It outlines a series of proposals aimed at expanding executive power and implementing significant reforms across different sectors within the United States.

Economy
The far-right Trump’s economic agenda includes imposing universal tariffs on foreign products, particularly targeting China and restoring energy ‘independence’ by eliminating regulations that hinder domestic production.
Trump was courted by oil and gas industry barons as Democratic Party leaned towards more environmentally friendly options such as solar and wind power.
The ExxonMobil former chief executive officer (CEO) Rex Tillerson, served as the US Secretary of State under Trump’s first presidency.
The president-elect aims to cut federal regulation through the restoration of Executive Order 13771 and the implementation of a regulatory budget.
He also seeks to bring an ‘independent’ regulatory agency(ies) under presidential authority and require federal employees to pass a new Civil Service test focused on constructional limits on government powers.
Education
Project 47 also seeks to cut federal funding for schools teaching critical race theory and gender ideology while advocating for universal school choice.
Trump proposed a new teacher certification process based on ‘patriotism’ and merit pay, along with direct elections for school principals.
Immigration and public safety
Trump’s proposals include imposing the death penalty for drug dealers and human traffickers. He also advocated designating Mexican cartels as foreign terrorist organisations.
He is aiming to end automatic US citizenship for the children of illegal immigrants and instead proposed a total ban on using taxes to ‘free’ illegal aliens.
Expansion of presidential powers
In what is blatant attempt to erode the checks and balances enshrined in the US constitution, Trump’s project 47 includes plans to interpret the unitary executive theory, allowing for greater unilateral action on policy issues.
Critics warn this could provoke a constitutional shutdown and violate the separation of powers.
Foreign affairs
In foreign policy, Trump aims to negotiate an end to the Russia-Ukraine War within ’24 hours’ and rebuild military strength through increased funding.
He also proposed sending troops to Mexico to combat drug cartels and deport people deemed to be ‘Hamas sympathisers’, which alarmed many as anyone could be accused of being a sympathiser and face deportation.
Medical and social security
Trump plans to preserve Medicare and Social Security by cutting federal expenses and eliminating what he deems as ‘wasteful’ spending.
Infrastructure and urban planning
The agenda includes plans for ‘Freedom Cities’ on undeveloped federal lands and a year-long celebration for the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, featuring national events and exhibitions.
Journalism, information and censorship
The Agenda 47 aims to dismantle what Trump describes as left-wing ‘censorship regime’ by prohibiting federal agencies from labeling information as misinformation and investigation those who have engaged in such.
Law enforcement
The agenda includes increasing investment in police personnel, enforcing existing gun laws and cooperating with the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to arrest and deport what he deems as ‘criminal’ aliens.
