Any attack on a Gulf State is an attack all: UAE

Hameli, who is Director of Strategic Communication at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said, “The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned and denounced the hostile statements made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu against the State of Qatar.”

In a post shared on X, she shared the statement issued by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which said that “the security and stability of the State of Qatar is an integral part of the security and stability of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.”

Moreover, the statement made it clear, “Any aggression against a GCC member state constitutes an attack on the collective Gulf security framework.”

It also “stressed the UAE’s categorical rejection of the Israeli statements, which included future threats directed at Qatar.

“The continuation of such provocative and hostile rhetoric undermines prospects for stability and pushes the region towards extremely dangerous trajectories,” the UAE warned.

‘COLLECTIVE RESPONSE’

Amid the rising tensions produced by an unending Israeli aggression, Qatar is hosting an extraordinary Arab-Islamic (Arab League-OIC) Summit on September 15 in response to the Doha attack.

On September 14 and 15, there would be an Arab League summit in Doha.

On Wednesday, Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani said there would be a response that is under discussion with regional partners to Israel’s Tuesday attack on Doha.

But the extremist Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu threatened to carry out more attacks as Israeli is trying to sabotage any progress on the two-state solution while also pushing ahead with the Greater Israel plans.

Moreover, the Qatari prime minister had also warned that “the entire Gulf region is at risk” as he pressed the case of a “collective response”.
