France’s Macron says he held phone conversation with Iran’s Pezeshkian

PARIS/TEHRAN: French President Emmanuel Macron said he held a phone conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Sunday.

He said in a post on X that his message was for a return to the negotiating table to address ballistic and nuclear issues, and for the resumption of the IAEA’s work in Iran.
