The fashion brand Zara has sparked a wave of controversy with its recently launched ad campaign, as people are calling for a boycott in light of the humanitarian tragedy unfolding in Gaza.
The Spanish retailer, featuring American model Kristen McMenamy, is facing backlash as she is depicted posing with mannequins wrapped in white cloth and plastic. The campaign is generating public outrage due to its perceived resemblance to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

So do we throw away existing #zara clothes or just not buy new ones? IMO since they don’t have logos on them I don’t think wearing ones we already have should be a problem? Never shopping there again, obviously. #Boycott_zara #BoycottZara

I am beyond disgusted. Using genocide of the people in Palestine for your campaign? I will never, ever, buy anything from Zara, ever again. This is absolutely cruel, heartless and evil. Mocking more than 20 thousand deaths of Palestinian people for a freaking campaign?? Udah gila… pic.twitter.com/cefmJE0oLs
