The total number of Palestinians brutally killed by Israelis in Gaza since the beginning of the conflict in October last year has now reached 40,861.
The violence has now extended to the occupied West Bank, too, where Israeli military siege has been ongoing for the past eight days. The Israeli Defense forces (IDF) imposed a siege on Jenin. This halted the delivery of essential supplies, including water and food.
The Governor of Jenin confirmed the Israeli blockade and its impact on the local populace.
Since August 28, at least 33 Palestinians have been killed in the occupied West Bank, with 130 injured. The situation exacerbated tensions in the region, contributing to widespread unrest and even protests.
Meanwhile, within Israel, protests against Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continued. Israelis protested against the ongoing negotiations with Hamas regarding prisoner exchange.
