Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar reported in “good health”

GAZA: Hamas chief Yahya SInwar is purportedly in good health, according to Khaled Qaddoumi, a spokesperson for the organisation.
In a statement, Khaled Qaddoumi stated that both, the political and military wings of Hamas in Gaza remains in full communication, countering recent claims regarding Sinwar’s condition.

The spokesperson dismissed Israeli claims about Yahyah Sinwar, labeling them as propaganda and fake news. “The Israeli narrative regarding our leader is a lie”, he stated, reinforcing the resilience of Hamas’s leadership amid ongoing tensions in the region.
He further stated that Yahya Sinwar was actively leading the resistance against Israeli atrocities in Palestine. “Yahya SInwar is at the forefront of the struggle against Israel”, Qaddoumi declared.
The spokesperson also accused Israel of attempting to undermine the morale of the Palestinian people through the dissemination of misleading information. “Israel wants to break the morale of the Palestinian people by spreading false news” he said.
He said that such tactics will not work or succeed.
The spokesperson concluded by talking about the resilience and steadfastness of Palestinians. “Israel cannot break the morale of steadfast Palestinians”.

The address of the Hamas spokesperson comes amidst heightened tensions and ongoing invasion of Gaza by Israel, as it bombards the enclave.
The brutal assault since last October has resulted in deaths of 41,000 Palestinians, including 15,000 children.
