BEIRUT: Iranian News Agency Tasnim News stated that Hezbollah’s Secretary General Seyed Hassan Nasrallah is safe on Friday evening, following Israeli attacks.
Tasnim news said the Israeli operation was a failure and that both Hassan Nasrallah and the head of the movement’s Executive Council Seyed Hashem Safieddine were unharmed, following a large aerial assault on Friday.
Earlier, Israeli media claimed the death of Nasrallah’s daughter, Zainab Nasrallah. Zainab is known for her strong advocacy for Hezbollah, in which she drums up support by referencing the death of her brother Hadi Nasrallah, who was killed in 1997 by Israeli forces.

Lebanese caretaker Prime Minister Najb Mikati issued a statement while attending the United Nations General Assembly in New York following the assault which said he will be returning to Beirut immediately.
“This new Israeli aggression proves that the Israeli enemy doesn’t care about all the international efforts and calls for a ceasefire,” Mikati said in the statement issued by his media office.

The statement also denied rumours that the Prime Minister had called on the army to declare a stat of maximum alert.
Mikati urged the international community to deter the Israeli enemy and stop its tyranny.
