Iran reports missiles and drones have hit military targets in Israel

TEHRAN: Iran’s state television reported that the country launched fifth wave of missile attacks on Israel in less than 24 hours after the latter targetted and killed Iran’s top military leaders and scientists on Friday.

Following the strikes, Jordan closed its airspace again.

Meanwhile, Iran said the Shahran oil depot in Tehran was targeted in an Israeli attack on Saturday but that the “situation was under control”.

“The fuel volume in the targeted tank was not high, and the situation is fully under control,” Iran’s oil ministry’s SHANA news agency reported.
