HAIFA: In a coordinated military operation, Iran launched a series of drone and missile attacks targeting key locations in Israel, including the Haifa power station, in early hours of Tuesday.
The Iranian state media confirmed the attacks.

The Haifa-based Bazan Group reported that the power station, crucial for producing steam and electricity, sustained severe damage as a result of the Iranian strikes.
In a regulatory filing, the company confirmed that all refinery facilities in Israel have been shut down due to the extent of the damage. The attack also resulted in the death of three employees of the Bazan Group.
The latest wave of conflict follows a series of confrontation between Iran and Israel, when the latter attacked and killed elite military personnel and scientists in Iran on Friday morning. Iran was in midst of fragile peace talks with the United States when Israel under the controversial Netanyahu leadership launched attacks on Iran.
The Republican US President, Donald Trump, threw his support behind Israel, with Israeli leadership confirming the latter was informed about Israel’s attack on the Islamic Republic.
Meanwhile, Iranian state television reported that the recent missile and drone assaults were part of a broader strategy to target Israeli infrastructure in response to ongoing military actions against the country.

Iranian media also reported that three workers from the Iranian Red Crescent were martyred in an Israeli attack in Tehran. The government condemned the attack, stating that such “acts of aggression” warranted a robust military response.
