TEHRAN: Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi warned on Sunday Israel and its allies against any “reckless” actions after Tehran’s drone and missile attack in retaliation for a deadly strike on its Damascus consulate, international media reported.

“If the Zionist regime (Israel) or its supporters demonstrate reckless behavior, they will receive a decisive and much stronger response,” Raisi said in a statement.

Earlier, Iran’s foreign ministry summoned the ambassadors of the United Kingdom, France, and Germany on Sunday, to question what it referred to as their “irresponsible stance” regarding Tehran’s retaliatory strikes on Israel, the semi-official Iranian Labour News Agency (ILNA) reported.

The three European countries have condemned Iran’s drone and missile attack against Israel, which went through Saturday night into Sunday and were in retaliation for Israel’s bombing of its consulate in Syria on April 1.
