Israeli airstrikes claim lives of 31 Lebanese

BEIRUT: Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon escalated, resulting in the deaths of 31 innocent Lebanese and fourteen injured early on Sunday.
The latest round of deaths was reported by the Lebanese Ministry of Health, as Israeli airstrikes targeted the Baalbek-Hermel and Knaisseh region of the country.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) stated the ‘operation’ was aimed at dismantling what they claimed to be ‘terrorist’ infrastructure belong to Hezbollah, including operational facilities and weapons depot.
The occupying forces has been waging a war on multiple fronts, ruthlessly slaughtering innocent Palestinians in Gaza since October last year. It then opened another front in occupied-West Bank and Lebanon.
The occupying force has intermittently also carried out strikes in Iran, Syria and Iraq, violating their sovereignty and committing one war crime after another.
Meanwhile, the United States keeps providing billions in aid and weaponry to the forces occupying Palestine.
On Saturday alone, Israeli atrocities left seven people dead, including two children in Tayr. Over 43,000 Palestinians have been killed, including 15,000 children.
Lebanese casualties have also crossed 3,000, with thousands of people injured and more rendered homeless due to relentless bombardment.
In retaliation, Hezbollah stated it targeted Israeli military sights, including the Ramat David airbase, the naval base in Haifa and a military airfield.
The group also reported launching rockets towards Upper Galilee, although some were intercepted by Israel.
Meanwhile in Gaza, two journalists and a child were killed in Fahd al-Sabah School in the al-Tuffah neighbourhood.

Israeli warplanes also conducted a raid early on Sunday on Tel al-Hawa neighbourhood in Gaza, while Israeli tanks fired on residential areas in Zeitoun.
