Kriti Sanon launches her own production house

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon announced the launch of her own production house, ‘Blue Butterfly Films,’ on Tuesday.

Sanon, who last graced the screen in the controversial mythological epic Adipursh, took to social media to share the exciting news with her fans. In a heartfelt post, she expressed her passion for the magical world of filmmaking and her eagerness to delve deeper into the industry she adores. The post read, “And its time to shift the gear! The Mimi actress made a grand announcement on Wednesday regarding her first production venture under Blue Butterfly Films. Titled “Do Patti,” it is set to be a mystery thriller in collaboration with Netflix India. “Thrilled to announce Do Patti,” Sanon said.

The movie will feature superstar Kajol in the parallel lead, marking their second collaboration since their appearance together in the 2015 action-comedy Dilwale by Rohit Shetty. “It is a story that is not only rooted in India but also promises the thrill that can be enjoyed by entertainment enthusiasts across borders,” Kajol said.

Meanwhile, Sanon will be seen in Vikas Bahl’s action-packed Ganpath Part 1 alongside Tiger Shroff. She will also grace the screen in The Crew, sharing the spotlight with a star-studded cast including Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, Rajkummar Rao, and Diljit Dosanjh. She has also signed on for an untitled project with the talented actor Shahid Kapoor, leaving fans eagerly awaiting the magic they will create together.
