PM Modi confident of third consecutive term vows to end corruption

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed confidence that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will form the government for a third consecutive term, addressing BJP workers at the party headquarters.


He thanked workers for their hard work and praised the Election Commission for successfully conducting the elections, highlighting the impressive turnout of over 100 crore voters.


PM Modi emphasised the significance of India’s election system, stating it is a matter of pride and enhances India’s reputation globally. He highlighted the NDA government’s achievements, including the removal of Article 370 from J and K, banking reforms, and prioritizing national interest during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Looking forward to his third term, PM Modi vowed to strike hard against corruption, leveraging digital India’s success in curbing corruption. He outlined plans to strengthen the defence sector, employment opportunities for youth, and work with all state governments to develop India.
