Saudi Crown Prince, Japanese PM discuss Gaza conflict, advocate for global peace

WEB DESK: In a recent development, Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman engaged in a crucial phone call with Japan’s Prime Minister Fumio Kishida to address the escalating military situation in Gaza, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

During the conversation, the Crown Prince underscored the Kingdom’s unwavering position against the deliberate targeting of civilians in Gaza, condemning it as a heinous crime and a brutal act of aggression. SPA noted that he stressed the paramount importance of safeguarding innocent civilians in the region.

According to SPA, Mohammed bin Salman also highlighted the significance of intensifying efforts to cease military operations and de-escalate the situation.

Salman also mentioned that the objective is to prevent any disruptions to the security, peace, and stability not only in the region but also globally.

The Saudi Crown Prince’s discussion with Prime Minister Kishida brought to the forefront the international apprehension regarding the ongoing conflict in Gaza.  Both leaders emphasised the imperative for a collective, concerted effort to promote peace and security in the region.
