Three killed, 12 injured in Afghanistan suicide bombing

KANDAHAR: At least three people were killed and 12 injured due to a suicide bombing in front of a bank in Kandahar, Afghanistan on Thursday, the local police reported.

The blast killed civilians who had gathered in front of the bank to withdraw cash, the Kandahar police department said in a statement.

Later, the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack on its Telegram channel.
