Trump announces Iran and Israel have agreed to a ceasefire

WASHINGTON: United States (US) President Donald Trump revealed that feuding nations, Iran and Israel, have agreed to a ceasefire.

In a post on his social media platform, Truth Social, the US President congratulated the world, stating that the hostile Middle Eastern states agreed to a proper ceasefire. “CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE! It has been fully agreed by and between Israel and Iran that there will be a Complete and Total CEASEFIRE”.

The Republican then went on to detail the timeline, writing that “[I]n approximately 6 hours from now, when Israel and Iran have wound down and completed their in progress, final missions![,] for 12 hours, at which point the War will be considered, ENDED!”

Trump revealed that Iran will soon “start” its ceasefire, with the US long-term ally, Israel starting the ceasefire at “the 12th Hour [sic]”. “[U]pon the 24th Hour [sic], an Official [sic] END to the 12 DAY WAR will be saluted by the World [sic]”, the US President cheered, peppering his post with several random capitalisations to—seemingly—emphasise a point.

The Republican was conscious to mention how each side would conduct their behaviour. “During each CEASEFIRE, the other side will remain PEACEFUL and RESPECTFUL. On the assumption that everything works as it should, which it will”.

The billionaire took it upon himself to christen the Israel-Iran conflict as “THE 12 DAY WAR”, probably echoing the Six Day War fought between Israel and a coalition of Arab nations in 1967. He expressed pride in Iran and the occupying regime for having the “Stamina [sic], Courage [sic], and Intelligence [sic] to end, what should be called, “THE 12 DAY WAR.”

Trump reminded his viewers how this war “could have gone on for years, and destroyed the entire Middle East”, never mind the US-funded and supported decimation of Gaza, bombing of Lebanon, Syrian military assets and Iranian cities all in past twelvemonth by Israel.

The businessman happily stated that “God bless Israel, God bless Iran, God bless the Middle East, God bless the United States of America, and GOD BLESS THE WORLD!” in a clear display of having finally achieved one of his biggest campaign promises: ending wars, even if Gaza genocide is still ongoing.

The reality media mogul signed off his post in capitalised letters: “DONALD J. TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”, as if to reinforce his current title and what he has managed to achieve.
