“Unhinged” Trump holds concert in Pennsylvania

OAKS: Former President Donald Trump turned a rally in Pennsylvania into a concert on Monday, while Democratic nominee Kamala Harris criticised Trump for statements he made on Sunday regarding the military.

Questions regarding affordable housing and relief to small business owners were cut short after two people fainted in the audience at Trump’s rally in Oaks, Pennsylvania.

“Who the hell wants to hear questions?” Trump asked his audience, suggesting to make the rally a “musical fest.”

The Republican presidential nominee then instructed his team to play “Ave Maria”. Moments later, he would be swaying back and forth, dancing and singing along to the Village People’s “YMCA”.

On the other side of the state in Eerie, Vice President Kamala Harris was bringing attention to comments Trump made over the weekend, in which he had advocated for the military to deal with his political opponents following any unrest after the November election.

Harris told her supporters that the “unstable and unhinged” former president “wants to send the military after American citizens.”

Trump had told Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo on Sunday that he didn’t expect any uproar or havoc from his own supporters on election day, stating that the real problem was “the people from within.”

He had also stated that US has some “sick people, radical left lunatics,” adding that any dissent could be handled by the National Guard, or “if really necessary, by the military.”

Earlier in October, special counsel Jack Smith released a 165-page motion that revealed Trump’s dissemination of false information, regarding voter fraud, induced a mob of his supporters to storm the capital on January 6. Five people were killed in the ensuing chaos.

Meanwhile, on Monday in Oaks, a cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” played.

“Keep going? Keep going? Should we keep going?” Trump said, emphatically urging his team to “turn that music up!”

Later, “Rich Men North of Richmond” played, a song by Oliver Anthony, which despite being a supposed criticism of politicians, became popular among Donald Trump supporters and conservatives in general.
